I enjoyed the historic charm of the Inn At Carnall Hall, with its beautiful setting on the University of Arkansas campus. However, my room was quite small, making it tricky to move around comfortably. Noise from the hallways was a bit of an issue, and I found the service to be somewhat indifferent during my stay.

I stayed in a king room, which was comfortable but a bit on the small side. It felt cozy, but I did notice the air conditioning was rather loud, which made it hard to get a good night's sleep. There was a nice jetted tub and a good shower head, which I appreciated.

The staff was friendly but seemed a bit overwhelmed, especially during breakfast. The waitress was charming but over-stressed, and I had to wait longer than expected for my order. I also faced some noise issues from guests above me that went unresolved, which was disappointing.

The hotel had a charming design, but the hot tub jets in my room sent out sludge, which was a big yikes. I'd expect better maintenance from a boutique hotel.
